Cookie Dough Brownies

Brownies
1 (21.5 oz) Fudge Brownie Mix
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 egg
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Filling
1/2 cup margarine softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
Glaze
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. oil
3/4 cup nuts
Grease 9x13 pan. Combine brownie mix, water, oil and egg. Beat 50 strokes by hand. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in greased pan.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
Cool completely.
Put the filling on top of the brownies and then top with glaze.

My mom loves to cook. It's what she does best. She loves searching for new recipes just to see what it tastes like {and to find the very best}. Growing up--mom was contantly baking cookies, canning food from our garden, baking bread and homemade salsa, and filling our home with sweet aromas {that I loved}. And now that I'm all grown up and out of the house, I still enjoy going home to see what she's made for us to eat! The purpose of this blog, is to record our family's favorite recipes...and to preserve them for our posterity. I want them to know that cooking is important to us.
